Business History  – Evolution from TeleTalk to TeleBiz
1989: Our business owner Rod Harris, established his first ICT business in Cairns; namely “TeleTalk”, supplying and supporting a mix of Office Automation (Oki & Ricoh), Satellite Comms, Two-Way Radio Comms, and Telco solutions, e.g. PBX Systems and the first Mobile Phone Reseller in Cairns.
1992: TeleTalk appointed the first Telstra Dealer in Australia and for the next 13 years prospered as the largest regional Telstra Dealership.
1995: TeleTalk established the first OEM accredited Mobile Phone Repair Centre north of Brisbane and for over ten years ranked 3rd largest in Australia.
2005: TeleTalk appointed first the Optus Master Partner in Australia (2005-2006), and established numerous branches across QLD & NT. 

1989-2006: TeleTalk achieved many prestigious milestones and won numerous customer service excellence awards, eg. Top six Telstra Dealerships from over 2000 others and consistently rated #1 for Mobile Phone Repairs. However,
Harris was uneasy operating under single up-stream Telco providers (Telstra, then Optus) because it was limiting TeleTalk’s ability to provide a wider choice of products & services for its 50,000+ growing client database. Something needed to change!

2007, Harris made a bold decision and launched “TeleBiz”, as Australia’s first “Independent” Comms and Carriage Service Provider (CSP). Today, TeleBiz is capable of providing every category of Telco solutions to Businesses (like a Telco Broker), and with the freedom to source and supply its clients with the best choices and best pricing options available on the market! Whereas, single-branded suppliers are limited in their offerings, and therefore must act in the best interests of their company shareholders; not necessarily what is best for the customer!

TeleBiz is a success story, experiencing net client-growth each week since inception and we have an impeccable reputation, e.g. our client “churn in/out ratio” is an outstanding 98:2, which is possibly the most successful ratio of a CSP in Australia. Plus, we have never been the recipient of a formal demand from a client or the likes of the ACCC, Fair Trading, Fair Work, TIO or suchlike (spanning over 30 years), which is another extraordinary achievement within the ICT-Telco sector. TeleBiz is highly customer-focused and continually strives to be № 1 in delivering excellent customer service!

Full-time Hands-on role proactively developing strategic marketing plans, delivering/organising content and managing the campaigns.
Applicants must be experienced in establishing and managing rolling campaigns across various e-marketing platforms, e.g our website and various social platforms and ebusiness directories, etc., including adding/updating content on the sites. Other duties include managing the integrity of our CRM databases and assisting our sales teams to farm the information, producing blogs, prepping & distributing PR content, supervising trade shows and all other forms of common and traditional marketing, e.g. design and manage continuity of signage etc.

Full time position installing, configuring, and maintaining PBX/SIP (VoIP) systems (On-Premise & Cloud PBX)
The brand names we sell and/or service include 3CX, Alcatel, Asterix, Hybrex, LG  NEC & Panasonic, plus others.
Essential Applicant credentials:
1. ACMA cabling license or ability to obtain asap. 
2. Minimum two years of recent experience installing and maintaining PBX Systems or installing and maintaining commercial ICT Networks (you may be an ICT Technician willing to cross-train into PBX systems (TeleBiz has access to accredited training).
3. Prior experience in deploying, configuring, and diagnostics with routers and carriage connectivity is essential.
4. Prior experience diagnosing & repairing structured cabling is preferred but not essential (minimal cabling tasks).
5. High standard of personal hygiene and presentation is essential (TeleBiz supplies uniforms).
6. High English language literacy skills (written & verbal) is essential
7. QLD Drivers license (or ability to obtain one) and a safe driving record.
8. Your own PBX Technician tool kit with the basic & essential fit-off devices.

An exciting role for an experienced and accomplished ICT-Telco Sales Manager, to oversee the recruitment, training, motivation, performance and rewards for our sales and marketing teams, e.g. inbound/outbound call centre, inhouse retail and outbound B2B in-field Sales Executives and e-marketing. We have the fundamentals in place with access to the best products, best prices and excellent after-sales technical support, and our  average closing rate is over 95%, so all we need now is a top-notch Sales Manager to ensure we acheive targets in a fun environment.  
Applicants must be able to demonstrate prior success in a sales management role spanning at least two years, and have relative experience overseeing e-commerce campaigns as the primary marketing medium. The position reports directly to the Managing Director.

Full time 40 hr week (Mon to Friday and ocassional Saturdays 9-1pm).
Primary activity is selling TeleBiz Mobility Devices and Carriage Plans, e.g. Mobile Phones, Satellite Phones, Tablets, associated Carriage Plans and accessories. Opportunity to upskill and sell complex ICT systems such as MS365, PBX systems and cybersecurity solutions.
Applicants must be well presented and possess excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
Most importantly, applicants must have a keen interest in selling futuristic ICT solutions and delivering excellent customer service. 
Advantageous if applicants have prior ICT retail experience, e.g. Dick Smith, EB games, Harvey Norman, JB-HiFi, Optus, Vodafone, Telstra etc.
TeleBiz provides product training, professional sales training refreshers and unlimited earning potential.

Excellent sales opportunities by farming our client databases and no geographical limits within Australia (excluding TeleBiz franchisee post codes). 
Remuneration package: Weekly salary, sales commissions, monthly airtime trailing commissions and other applicable entitlements and rewards.

Full time position managing the administration of the Service Department, including quality control, asset management, tech scheduling, inventory, ensuring customers receive consistent top-notch support and acheiving operational targets within budget. In many ways, the role has similiar responsibilities to managing the administration of a Motor Vehicle Dealership Service Department. 
Working alongside the Technical Director and reporting directly upline to the Company Managing Director.
TeleBiz has an excellent rapport with our clients and they respect our attitude to providing excellent client support.
Basic ICT technical knowledge is a essential, as is an interest in working with futuristic ICT solutions. 
Working hours are Mon to Fri 8.30 to 5pm. 
Remuneration by way of Salary, KPI bonuses and miscellaneous other entitlements.     

Be trained to install, configure and maintain business PBX phone systems, and associated IT networked solutions.

Applicants will only be considered if they possess the following “essential” credentials:

  1. Clean open drivers licence endorsed to drive a manual Tech Van.
  2. Good hand to eye co-ordination (use of hand tools for installing on-site system racks etc).
  3. Demonstrated interest and passion in IT computing and IT networking.
  4. Minimum two-year’s work experience building and maintaining computers/networking
  5. Equivalent knowledge to completing a Diploma in IT Networks and that of a CCNA.
  6. Excellent literacy skills, as the role entails emailing clients and writing technical reports.
  7. Demonstrate a responsible attitude towards the provision of excellent customer service.
  8. Clean tidy appearance, as the role includes working within occupied customer premises.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to undergo a Cert 3 in Telco and/or Cert 3/4 in Voice/Data Networking (if not already done so) and receive ongoing brand specific training from TeleBiz and our suppliers. Future management training opportunities also.

Standard working hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm. Remuneration by way of weekly wage (above award when adequately trained), rostered (paid) day off per month, other entitlements and incentive bonuses. Role includes a suitably equipped company vehicle.

Installing and maintaining voice & data structured cabling
Opportunity to be cross trained to install/configure/maintain PBX systems and IT Networks
Ideal candidates will possess:
1. Open ACMA license (with Optic etc endorsements) is a prerequisite for this position
2. Appropriate personal presentation with average or above literacy
3. QLD Drivers license and safe driving record
4. Most importantly, we seek a motivated Technician who takes pride in their presentation and workmanship, and will ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to the utmost satisfaction of all parties involved.
Remuneration: Hourly rate or Base salary, vehicle/allowance, standard entitlements and $$ performance bonuses.
Overall Total Earnings (OTE) relative to experience & ability to perform well in the role.
