Business History – Evolution from TeleTalk to TeleBiz
1989: Our business owner Rod Harris, established his first ICT business in Cairns; namely “TeleTalk”, supplying and supporting a mix of Office Automation (Oki & Ricoh), Satellite Comms, Two-Way Radio Comms, and Telco solutions, e.g. PBX Systems and the first Mobile Phone Reseller in Cairns.
1992: TeleTalk appointed the first Telstra Dealer in Australia and for the next 13 years prospered as the largest regional Telstra Dealership.
1995: TeleTalk established the first OEM accredited Mobile Phone Repair Centre north of Brisbane and for over ten years ranked 3rd largest in Australia.
2005: TeleTalk appointed first the Optus Master Partner in Australia (2005-2006), and established numerous branches across QLD & NT.
1989-2006: TeleTalk achieved many prestigious milestones and won numerous customer service excellence awards, eg. Top six Telstra Dealerships from over 2000 others and consistently rated #1 for Mobile Phone Repairs. However, Harris was uneasy operating under single up-stream Telco providers (Telstra, then Optus) because it was limiting TeleTalk’s ability to provide a wider choice of products & services for its 50,000+ growing client database. Something needed to change!
2007, Harris made a bold decision and launched “TeleBiz”, as Australia’s first “Independent” Comms and Carriage Service Provider (CSP). Today, TeleBiz is capable of providing every category of Telco solutions to Businesses (like a Telco Broker), and with the freedom to source and supply its clients with the best choices and best pricing options available on the market! Whereas, single-branded suppliers are limited in their offerings, and therefore must act in the best interests of their company shareholders; not necessarily what is best for the customer!

Full-time Hands-on role proactively developing strategic marketing plans, delivering/organising content and managing the campaigns.
Applicants must be experienced in establishing and managing rolling campaigns across various e-marketing platforms, e.g our website and various social platforms and ebusiness directories, etc., including adding/updating content on the sites. Full time position installing, configuring, and maintaining PBX/SIP (VoIP) systems (On-Premise & Cloud PBX)
The brand names we sell and/or service include 3CX, Alcatel, Asterix, Hybrex, LG NEC & Panasonic, plus others.
Essential Applicant credentials:
1. ACMA cabling license or ability to obtain asap.
2. Minimum two years of recent experience installing and maintaining PBX Systems or installing and maintaining commercial ICT Networks (you may be an ICT Technician willing to cross-train into PBX systems (TeleBiz has access to accredited training).
3. Prior experience in deploying, configuring, and diagnostics with routers and carriage connectivity is essential.
4. Prior experience diagnosing & repairing structured cabling is preferred but not essential (minimal cabling tasks).
5. High standard of personal hygiene and presentation is essential (TeleBiz supplies uniforms).
6. High English language literacy skills (written & verbal) is essential
7. QLD Drivers license (or ability to obtain one) and a safe driving record.

Full time position managing the administration of the Service Department, including quality control, asset management, tech scheduling, inventory, ensuring customers receive consistent top-notch support and acheiving operational targets within budget. In many ways, the role has similiar responsibilities to managing the administration of a Motor Vehicle Dealership Service Department.
Working alongside the Technical Director and reporting directly upline to the Company Managing Director.
